TIM is preparing to remodel some rechargeable mobile offers starting tomorrow, February 28th. This will result in a increase in the monthly price of 2 euros. The telephone operator points out that it is a limited number of offers that they are no longer on the market, and that the measure is necessary to meet needs related toevolution of network platforms. To partially mitigate the increase in the monthly price, TIM has provided for an increase in the data traffic ceiling included in the offers concerned: 20 Giga more every month; this measure will in any case have no effect on customers with an active TIM Unica offer, given that they will continue to benefit from data traffic with unlimited Giga.
TIM does not provide a detailed list of the offers in question, but specifies that the interested customers were contacted directly by the operator. It is therefore good to pay attention to communications via SMS leave in January, but for clarification you can also call the free number 409164 and customer service 119, or access the MyTim section from the app or web. Customers who do not accept the unilateral modification will be able to exercise the right of withdrawal or switch to another operator without penalties or deactivation costs. However, it will have to be done by March 31, 2022 according to the methods indicated:
- by filling out the online form “Application form for termination and self-certification of line ownership “
- by printing and filling in the same form which must be sent to the address indicated in the same or by certified e-mail to the address recesso_linee_mobili@pec.telecomitalia.it, attaching a copy of the required documentation
- by going to a TIM sales point
- calling 119
- Note: the form can be replaced by a written communication in free form which must however contain the same data requested in the official form.
Another option is to deactivate the offer subject to contractual change while maintaining the mobile line with TIM (the rate envisaged by the basic profile active on the mobile line or that envisaged by any other offers already active on the same will be applied).
