On the occasion of the Mobile World Congress 2022, Huawei did not limit itself to announcing the Super Device system, to which we dedicated an ad hoc news, but also took advantage of the Spanish appointment to put on the plate a series of new devices, including refreshes of existing models and absolute novelties.
All of them, of course, take advantage of the Super Device functions, so they are designed to collaborate with each other so as to allow a more effective workflow. The line up of products is quite vast given that it goes from MateBook X Pro to All in One MateStation X, with some excursus into the world of tablets and convertibles but also an e-ink device that could arouse some curiosity .
HUAWEI MATEBOOK XP
Waiting to have the complete technical data sheet and information on availability in Italy, for the new Matebook X Pro, Huawei has placed the emphasis on 14.2 “touch display with 3.1K resolutionscreen-to-body ratio of 92.5% and an average Delta E <1 (typical value) in the dual color gamut P3 and sRG.
The company also highlighted the audio equipment, which can count on six speakers, and the weight of the laptop which will be 1.38 kilogramsin line with the previous one.
HUAWEI MATEBOOK E
Halfway between tablet and PC, the MateBook E convertibles have been on sale for some time in China but are also getting closer to our market. The idea is obviously to unite a thin form factor (about 8mm) with a weight that is around 700 grams, to the versatility of Windows.
The display is a 12.6-inch OLED that supports Huawei’s M-Pencil but also the magnetic keyboard designed specifically to complete the configuration of this 2 in 1. In China there were more versions that mounted the Intel Core i5-1130G7 or Core i7-1160G7, we will see with which configurations they will arrive in our part.
HUAWEI MATESTATION X
The MateStation X, a All in One PC featuring a 28-inch 4K display that supports 10-point multitouch. In China it has been available for a few months in a couple of configurations, both featuring AMD processors (Ryzen 5 5600H and 7 5800H) accompanied by 16 GB of ram and a 512 GB SSD.
HUAWEI MATEPAD PAPER
The MatePad Paper is the company’s first e-ink tablet and is obviously aimed at those looking for a device suitable for both reading and writing. In short, something that can come as close as possible to a substitute for the good old notebook or notebook.
The screen is 10.3 “and is characterized by a ratio between the display and the body of the device of 86.3%. The M-Pencil is obviously supported, which allows different types of input, for example, allowing both to take notes by hand free both to automatically convert the handwriting of the person using it in the typing of a font of your choice. The device, which uses HarmonyOS 2, has some functions designed to make it easier to use such as a split screen for example, to place text and the clipboard side by side.
HUAWEI MATEPAD
Huawei finally leveraging MWC 2022 to showcase its 10.4 “MatePad which should mount a Snapdragon 778 and have Full HD resolution, waiting for official confirmation. Obviously HarmonyOS installed for a device that will clash with a lot of competition considering how crowded the tablet market has recently (re) done.
