Toyota leads the ranking of the most reliable cars in Europe

What is the most reliable brand on the four-wheeler market? To try to answer this question is a ‘survey conducted by AltroConsumo on a sample of 52,000 European motorists (the survey considers Italy, France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal). Leading the reliability ranking, according to the data collected by the study, are the Japanese brands and, in particular, the Toyota group.

It is the brand itself Toyota to characterize itself as the most reliable brand with regards to city car, ahead of Mitsubishi, Honda and Suzuki as well as the Korean Kia and Hyundai and another Japanese, Mazda. After the group of Asians, it’s up to Dacia which turns out to be the first European brand for reliability.

To complete the Top 3 there is still a Japanese: Mitsubishi. Fourth and fifth position, however, go to Hyundai and Kia with the first European brand, Seat, which conquers the sixth position. As regards the Family Caron the other hand, to lead is Lexus (Toyota’s premium brand) that once again precedes the cars of the Toyota brand.

Lexus conquers the first position also in the ranking of reliability of SUVs preceding Subaru and Porsche that manages to undermine the Toyota brand, fourth, from the podium. The survey also tried to photograph the maintenance costs of a car going to highlight how most of the interventions are related to the electrical sector of the vehicle.

Maintenance at authorized workshops is cheaper with Launch, with an average cost of 200 euros. On the podium we also find Suzuki and Fiat, with 225 and 240 euros respectively. Fourth position for Toyota with 250 euros.
