Huawei brings MateBook 16 to Barcelona, ”Huawei’s first high-performance notebook with a 16-inch FullView display“. There are so many innovations presented by the Chinese company at the Catalan fair, and this adds to what was unveiled yesterday, including the Matebook X Pro, Matebook E and Matestation X. Matebook 16 has been designed for professionals, it is certified TÜV Rheinland for the Color Accuracy and Quick Stability categories and is based on the fan-cooled AMD Ryzen 5000 Series processor Huawei Shark.
The company, as known, focuses a lot on multi-device support, and Matebook 16 is no exception with the ability to connect to smartphones, tablets and external monitors. Eg:

- connection with MateView, also wireless
The eye also wants its part, then, with a minimal and sturdy shell in Space Gray finished with a ceramic sandblasting process. Particular attention has been paid to the glass touchpad and the hinge that can be opened and closed with one hand. All in a weight of 1.99kg and a thickness of 17.8mm.
Work on the Matebook 16 is facilitated by the 16 “2.5K display with reduced bezels (screen-to-body ratio 90%) and with a 3: 2 ratio, ideal for productivity. Factory calibration, with color accuracy of ΔE = 1, the comfort of sight is guaranteed by the low blue light emissions and the absence of flicker. Under the body is the AMD Ryzen 5000 processor, available in the 5 5600H and 7 5800 versions. Huawei Shark keeps temperatures at bay with two 75mm fans, hinged air inlet and double heat pipe, all without noise whether you work in Performance mode with 54W TDP, or if you prefer the Balance to increase the autonomy of the 84Wh battery (rechargeable with 135W adapter).
