A resident of Maryland, United States, has recovered his iPhone disappeared in the toilet after reporting the loss of the device way back in 2012. In a story tracked on US Sun, Becki Beckmann he found his iPhone by his toilet, ten years after the terminal was declared as “lost”.
Despite efforts to get it back, Beckmann was unable to locate what happened to his iPhone in 2012. She moved on, of course, and she had forgotten about the phone having bought more over the course of time.
How did an iPhone stay nearly unchanged over time?
But a lingering sound coming from a toilet in Beckmann’s apartment needed more and more careful scrutiny; you had to find out what made a weird sound every time the toilet flushed.
Beckmann’s husband later discovered that it was indeed the lost iPhone from 2012, which had fallen down the toilet. Given the disorienting nature of the toilet room, he was impressive that the phone still retained its basic structure, even though the back cover had separated from the frame. Unfortunately, iDevices only achieved waterproofing in 2016 starting with the iPhone 7 series.
It is unclear whether the gadget that looks like an iPhone 4 can still be restored to optimal conditions but, quite simply, it can be said with pride that the iPhone has endured its ten-year stay. There were several opinions on the Facebook post detailing what had happened to the gadget in the toilet over the long ten-year time frame.
Many users are questioning the story; many believe that the smartphone hasn’t actually been in the toilet for ten years. Some suggest that he was stuck there only recently and that he built this ad hoc story for a bit of popularity. As of today, we will never know, but it is certainly a bizarre event to take into consideration.
