The Redmi K50 series will be equipped with the very powerful processor MediaTek Dimensity 9000. We are talking about the flagship solution of the Taiwanese giant which, according to the benchmarks that emerged on the net, was able to outperform even its counterpart Qualcomm.
Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi, is expected to launch the new models of the K50 series in March. Just a few hours ago, the vanilla and Pro models recently leaked in renders that revealed their design. Last night, the general manager of the brand also hinted at the chipset that powers one of these phones.
Yesterday, however, a journalist asked for information on the availability of the Redmi smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 technology in the comments section of a post from Redmi’s GM Lu Weibing on Weibo. For this, the executive of the brand has confirmed that the Redmi K50 series will boast the aforementioned chip.
For the uninitiated, the processor Dimensity 9000 will debut on the new OPPO Find X5 later today. The company also indirectly suggested this.
Additionally, the tipster Digital Chat Station unveiled some key features of the upcoming K50 series with Dimensity 9000 chip. It says this phone will come with support for 120W fast chargingx-axis vibration motor, JBL tuned stereo speakers and a good display.
Following the renderings shared by @OnLeaks, K50 and K50 Pro seem to look a lot like Vivo home phones. They will have a rectangular camera island with sensors arranged in a rectangular shape. The profiles are square and the panel instead is flat.
We can’t wait to learn more about the flagship killer series in question. Let us know your device expectations. We do not know when they will arrive and what features they will introduce. Presumably, they will hit the market under the POCO brand, just as we saw last year with the 2021 models.
