Google gives, Google takes, after talking to you in recent days about some lost features from Google Photos, both for the integration with the Messages app, and for the support for the unlimited backup of Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, today we bring you something which is instead added to the app in question: Google has decided to offer users more filtering options in the Google Photos galleryto help them keep everything tidy and easily available; let’s see what the new update brings with it.
Google introduces new tabs for searching for albums
Usually, in the Google Photos gallery, there are all the albums listed in different folders: WhatsApp and messaging apps, screenshots, manually created albums, shared albums etc.
With the new update, Big G is introducing the ability to have one faster overview of our content, in fact, a bar has been added from which it is possible to decide which albums should be displayed; you can select a filter to reach the desired content more quickly without manually searching for it. Some of the new tabs available to users are “All”, “My Albums”, “On Device”, “Shared Albums”; A quick overview of the functions related to photos stored locally has also been added.
The update should be rolled out for everyone, if you haven’t received it yet it’s just a matter of time, but you can check the Play Store by following the badge below.
