A few days after the leak that revealed some of the internal components of Google Pixel 7 including the second generation of the Google Tensor chip and the introduction of a new 5G modem made by Samsung, today we have the opportunity to discover preview what could be the design of the new top of the Google range.
Expected to be launched between the end of Q3 and the beginning of Q4 together with Android 13, the new high-end smartphone of the Mountain View giant seems to incorporate some aesthetic keys that have made the Google Pixel 6 series so unique and different than past versions: the rear camera.
Google Pixel 7: is this the design of the new device?
It seems that the Google design team has decided to slightly rework the rear module by emphasizing the separation between the three rear modules. At first glance, moreover, it seems that even for the “vanilla” model the hi-tech company has decided to keep three elements like on Google Pixel 6, obviously leaving a Google Pixel 7 Pro the honor of riding four.
From the information published on the net we know that the device would have dimensions equal to 155.6 x 73.1 x 8.7 mm (11.5 mm considering the thickness of the rear camera): these data indicate that it would be slightly smaller and smaller than Google Pixel 6. From the front, it is likely that it will find once again placed a centrally positioned punch hole camera, the integrated fingerprint sensor (hopefully this time not with the performance offered by the one currently available), two lower speakers and the USB Type-C port for charging.
As we said, therefore, few aesthetic differences for the new high-end smartphone and a slight refinement of the rear camera.
We would like to clarify to take this information with the right caution: at present there are no certainties that the design of the version final of the device will be this.
