Motorola Moto G Stylus (2022) is a mid-range smartphone that takes the place and renews last year’s model, which went to update the 2020 version with 5G connectivity. Its strong point is undoubtedly the integrated stylus, which allows you to take full advantage of the large IPS Max Vision 20: 9 display from 6.8 in at Full-HD + resolution, with a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
The space for the stylus does not detract from the battery, which again spares no expense and integrates well 5000 mAh. For the rest, the datasheet includes SoC Mediatek Helio G88, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal memory (expandable up to 512 GB with microSD), triple rear camera with the main sensor of 50 MP (f / 1.9), ultra-wide-angle + Macro Vision of 8 MP and for depth of 2 MP. The latter provides many features, such as panoramic shots, Smart Composition, Night Vision, portrait mode, integration with Google Lens, and much more.
Also on board is a 16 MP (f / 2.2) front camera, 3.5 mm jack port (definitely not obvious), dual microphone, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G connectivity, and dual-band Wi-Fi. We now come to the sore points: in addition to the absence of NFC connectivity, which could already make someone turn up their noses, it is worth emphasizing the presence of a My UX based on Android 11, now several months after the debut of Android 12.
The update is sure to come, but a launch with the latest distribution would have been welcome by users. Motorola promises at least anyway two years of monthly security updates.

The diagonal of the display, as mentioned above, is 6.8 inches, but the general dimensions are the most striking: we are talking about 170.21 x 75.90 x 9.45 mm, with a weight of 216 grams. For comparison, the just arrived in Italy Google Pixel 6 Pro measures 163.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm (weight of 210 grams).
Since it has been designed for use with a stylus, these dimensions may not scare the target of the product, but let’s say that it is not the most suitable smartphone for one-handed use. Two colors are available, both with plastic and water-repellent shells: Twilight Blue and Metallic Rose.
