Netflix is testing a new feature that will enrich the homepage: it is “Fast Laughs” (Laughter on the fly), which came out last year on the mobile app and now being tested on the app dedicated to TV.
“Faust Laughs” consists of one collection of short comic videos taken from shows and movies present in the catalog of the platform. By scrolling down, in fact, the user can click on the appropriate section and start a reproduction of comic moments that will have the aim, in addition to entertaining, to allow viewers to discover new content. It will also be possible to go to the next clip (or go back to the previous one), add a title to the custom list and directly play the movie or series from which the scene is taken.
Currently “Fast Laugh” is slowly spreading to subscribers of United States, Canada, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland And “other selected English-speaking countries”. Finally, only adult profiles have access to the function.
