Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro and Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 are official in the very first stages of the MWC 2022 in Barcelona, and less than a year after the first generations. No revolution, we can call them an iterative update that improves and perfects the formula seen in the past, whose keystone are the new 12th generation Intel Core processors (Alder Lake). Goodbye to the Core i3 seen with the previous generation, only i5 and i7 remain. Apart from the CPU, there are other great innovations from the point of view of the hardware platform: the LPDDR5 RAM, for example, and the optional discrete video card is now also supplied by Intel: instead of the NVIDIA MX450 in fact we find an Arc, exact model not specified.
The news does not end there. We find first of all the 5G connectivity (optional) instead of the LTE one, and the webcam switches to FHD 1080p (before it was 720p). The main specifications of the display (an AMOLED FHD), storage and battery remain the same. The measurements are identical to the tenth of a millimeter. The colors diminish a bit – light gray and dark gray, plus a dark red (burgundy) for the convertible.
Much attention has been paid to security: Samsung has in fact implemented the standards necessary to obtain the Secured-core PC certification presented by Microsoft in 2019. Here are the technical specifications known so far.
For the moment we have no concrete information; we will update you as soon as Samsung tells us more.
