The ninth generation Pokémon will debut later this year on the Nintendo Switch with Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violetannounced on the occasion of Pokémon Presents.
Developed by Game Freak, the two new titles will expand the franchise by allowing players to freely explore a rich and vast world where city and nature will merge into a boundless universe. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will therefore be “open world” adventures where new creatures will meet and engage in battles against wild Pokémon and then capture them.
City and nature come together in a world without borders. You will be able to observe the Pokémon of this region everywhere: skies, seas, forests, roads and more! You will be able to relive the essence of the Pokémon series games, taking on wild Pokémon in battle and then capturing them, but in an open world adventure suitable for players of all ages.
At the moment no further details have been disclosed even if the announcement trailer has officially presented the three Starters: Sprigatito (grass), Fuecoco (fire) e Quaxly (water).
