Last December, NVIDIA had announced new ones Low-end GPU for the mobile market (GeForce RTX 2050, MX570 And MX550), whose debut was scheduled for spring this year. It seems that their arrival is imminent by now, as, as reported by ITHome, Mechanical RevolutionChinese notebook brand, launched Unbounded 16 Prolaptop equipped with the GeForce RTX 2050 graphics card. For the occasion, the company has also published some graphics that highlight the graphics capabilities of the GPU.
In particular, in the well-known benchmark 3DMark Fire Strike, the RTX 2050 was compared to a GTX 1650 and an MX 450, against which it recorded a lead of 23% and a score more than doubled, respectively. Next, “Clipping Professional Edition” was considered, a suite for video editing and processing, where the NVIDIA card took much less time encoding a movie than the Iris Xe with 96 EU.
Below are the specifications of NVIDIA’s new low-end GPUs:
Nvidia GeForce | RTX 2060 | RTX 2050 | MX 570 |
---|---|---|---|
CUDA Core | 1,920 | 2.048 | 2.048 |
GPU Clock | 1,185 – 1,560 MHz | 1.155 – 1.477 MHz | 1.087 – 1.155 MHz |
Graphics Subsystem Power (W) | 65 – 115 W | 30 – 45 W | 15 – 25 W |

Recall that the RTX 2050, despite being part of the 20 series, uses an Ampere GPU, more specifically the GA107, the same present in the RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti mobile. Obviously, it will be able to count on all the key features of the latest NVIDIA proposals, such as support for real-time ray tracing effects, DLSS, Reflex, Broadcast, as well as NVIDIA Optimus to improve the autonomy of the laptop.
Mechanical Revolution’s Unbounded 16 Pro notebook is expected to hit the market early next month.
