As early as last month, Twitter had open to NFTs allowing Twitter Blue subscribers to set an NFT image they own as their profile photo by linking their virtual wallet.
The feature is currently available for iOS users onlybut it seems that Twitter is preparing for the launch also on desktop: in the last hours, in fact, opening Twitter from the browser has appeared a screen informing users of the future possibility of setting an NFT image.
It is unclear whether NFT profile pictures will remain exclusive to Twitter Blue subscribers or whether they will be rolled out to all users. At the moment, it appears that the related features are still under development.
