Five months after the presentation of the first Xiaomi CIVI for the Chinese market only, a smartphone that focuses heavily on design, we return to talk about another model that could soon join it: Xiaomi CIVI Pro (or Xiaomi CIVI 2).
In short, after having seen in the past few hours the news coming from POCO and Redmi and after having taken a look at the particular folding patented by Xiaomi, there is a new leak to be taken into consideration.
Xiaomi CIVI Pro: probable technical specifications
This is not a completely new model, given that its passage to TENAA dates back to last October, however now the team of Xiaomiui managed to put together more details about her.
According to what we read, the launch of Xiaomi CIVI Pro would already be around the corner, it would in fact be scheduled for the month of March or April at the latest. The smartphone would correspond to the Xiaomi 12 Lite Zoom with the code name “zijin” which in December last year had been discovered thanks to the IMEI certification.
The source also brings together the Technical specifications of this alleged new smartphone under the Xiaomi brand, starting from the SM7325 processor, or the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G present on the first CIVI.
Follows the indication of a 6.55-inch diagonal OLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate and Full HD + resolution. These features are also superimposable to those of the already official model.
As for the photographic sector, the presence of the OIS (optical image stabilizer) is excluded and there are rumors of a secondary ultra-wide-angle camera and a third one with macro optics, which would not exactly represent a surprise.
The most significant difference compared to the first CIVI and the first leaks concerns the fact that Xiaomi CIVI Pro should arrive on the market with Android 12 and MIUI 13 out of the boxprobably with the firmware version V13.0.1.0.SLPCNXM.
Although these are mere indiscretions and should be treated as such, it should however be emphasized that, like the first model, not even this one – which should have the code name “zijin” and as model number 2203119EC (abbreviated as K9E) – should be launched outside China.
