A well-known informant revealed some details regarding the fast charging and battery of the alleged smartphone Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Meanwhile, Redmi has confirmed the launch of the smartphone Redmi K50 Gaming Edition in China.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra would support 120W charging
According to the tipster Digital Chat Station Xiaomi 12 Ultra would be powered by a 4,860mAh battery, slightly larger than that of Xiaomi 12 Pro, with support for 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The leaker previously revealed that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will adopt a 1440p + Samsung AMOLED panel with a high refresh rate and the same camera hardware as the Mi 11 Ultra, but Leica-branded and with a new design, however, the company does not have still confirmed the existence of Xiaomi 12 Ultra and much less has set a date for its presentation.
Today Redmi confirmed the launch of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition smartphone in China for February 16. The poster image shows the new Blue with a Black design which is however similar to the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition released last year, with magnetic game triggers and a triple rear camera with RGB lighting.
The company claims this will be the best gaming smartphone thanks to specs that include Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, dual VC cooling system, ultra-wideband CyberEngine motor, and a 4700mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
The smartphone is expected to offer an AMOLED FHD + 120Hz display and ensure greater heat dissipation.
