Lenovo made its grand entry into the gaming smartphone segment in 2020. Now, it is preparing to introduce its first gaming tablet dubbed the Legion Y700.
Lenovo Legion Y700: as powerful as a mini console
Before the actual debut, the Chinese company decided to lift the embargo on the product. As a result, we now have the full spec list of the device along with a series of images showing it from all angles. In addition to the specs, the tipster Feiwei on Weibo he shared some photos that show the device in all its glory.
Under the body it contains the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 870. This 7nm based processor it can still handle games flawlessly and is helped by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device runs ZUI 13 based on Android 11. The also sports an 8.8-inch diagonal display with Quad HD + resolution and support for 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes with Dolby Vision and HDR 10 support.
In terms of battery life, the Legion Y700 will offer decent runtimes. Comes with a 6,550 mAh battery which can run popular games for about 6 hours. Thankfully, uploading it will be a joke, thanks to 45W super flash charging technology. The device is equipped with a port USB 3.1 Gen2. Furthermore, Lenovo is also focusing on the experience and has equipped the device with a linear motor on the X axis for the haptics.
The leaked images also reveal the brand’s charger which has 1 USB C port and 1 USB A port.
The Lenovo Legion Y700 Gaming it will become official on February 28th during the spring new product launch event of Saver Ecology 2022. New gaming phones, gaming tablets and premium notebooks will also be showcased during this particular event. Obviously, the presentation is clearly focused on the Indian market. It is not known if this tablet will arrive on international markets.
The company is said to be introducing the new Y7000P and Y9000P gaming laptops; these will be equipped with 12th generation Intel processors and RTX 3070 Ti graphics cards.
