A few days after the presentation event of Realme GT 2 series for the European market, the Chinese giant announces that the eagerly awaited Realme GT 2 Pro is one of the first Android smartphones to receive certification Google Performance class for Android 12 (also known as Performance Class 12).
For the less informed about Google’s certification, these are minimum hardware specifications specified by the Mountain View giant in theAndroid Compatibility Definition Document (CDD) published last October following the release of the stable version of Android 12, to which Android OEMs must respond to ensure that their devices guarantee a high user experience.
Realme GT 2 Pro receives Google Performance class for Android 12 certification
To qualify for Performance Class 12, an Android device must meet the following requirements:
- At least 6 GB of RAM
- At least 400 DPI with 1080p resolution
- At least 120MB / s write speed, 250MB / s read speed, 10MB / s random write speed and 40MB / s random read speed
- At least one 12MP rear camera capable of recording 4K @ 30 FPS resolution video
- At least one 4MP front camera capable of recording 1080p @ 30 FPS resolution video
Realme not only makes it known that the device fully meets the aforementioned requirements, but also confirms that the smartphone is equipped with a 6.7-inch 4K resolution AMOLED flat panel, LTPO technology with dynamic refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz, fingerprint sensor integrated into the display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 8/12 GB of RAM of LPDDR5 type, 128/256/512 GB of internal space of UFS 3.1 type, main camera with 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor, 5000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging, Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 and much more. Finally, we remind you that the device will be presented on February 28 during the opening day of the MWC in Barcelona.
