While it is true that the first official information on Street Fighter 6 will arrive only in the course of next summer, a possible landing of the game on PC may already have been under our eyes for a very long time. Yes, even before the formal announcement of the actual title.
As noted on Reddit, in fact, Street Fighter 6 had been one of multiple titles spotted in the database of GeForce NOW, Nvidia’s service that allows users to rent servers in order to play a vast library of titles supported and purchased by players. The leak took place in September and contained several unannounced games and console ports that turned out to be true.
While obviously not an official confirmation, we must consider all the movements of the last few months: the database in fact included several titles that were then officially unveiled. These include Respawn Entertainment’s new Star Wars games, Crysis 4, remasters of GTA 3, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas, Chrono Cross Remaster and Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Hardly therefore Street Fighter 6 has been included only for internal testing by Nvidia or as a placeholder: most likely, the Capcom fighting game is really coming to PC.
In addition to the PC, the target platforms of Street Fighter 6 have not yet been disclosed. Most likely, at least according to some insiders, the game could again be linked to an exclusivity agreement with PlayStation consoles, such as PS4 and PS5. the situation will obviously be clearer as soon as Capcom reveals more details related to the new fighting game of the series, so we invite you to take this information and rumors with a grain of salt.
