Motorola unveiled its flagship Moto Edge X30 smartphone in December as the first in the world to employ Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Now the company is ready to launch a new variant of this premium smartphone in China.
Motorola Edge X30 Under Screen Edition will be presented in March
Chen Jin, General Manager of Lenovo China’s Mobile Phone Business Department, revealed that Moto Edge X30 Under Screen Edition it will be launched in the Chinese market in March, but without confirming a specific date.
Moto Edge X30 Under Screen Edition features a front camera under the display, but apart from this detail it is likely that almost all the specifications of this new smartphone on the way will remain the same as the Moto Edge X30 that has been available in the Chinese market for a couple of months.
Therefore we can expect the smartphone to be equipped with a 6.7-inch Full HD + OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 576Hz touch sample rate. The panel will offer a DCI P3 100 color gamut. %, HDR10 + and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
In support of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC there should be a maximum of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of memory for storage, while on the camera front it is likely that the device will offer a triple configuration with a 50 MP primary sensor.
Moto Edge X30 Under Screen Edition will run Android 12 and will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging.
