The Whatsapp is continually looking for improvements to its hugely popular cross-platform instant messaging service, and at the center of this research is undoubtedly the beta program of the application, for which new updates are regularly released.
In the past few hours, the team has kicked off the release of one new beta version of its application intended for Android devices: we are talking about the version 2.22.6.3 of WhatsApp Beta.
What’s new in WhatsApp Beta update 2.22.6.3 for Android
Whatsapp has for some time redesigned the interface of a contact’s information and now, in addition to the shortcuts to make an audio call or a video call, a search link within the chat with contact. Some users report the appearance of the shortcut also in the info of group chats.
This functionality, indicated by the specialized portal WABetaInfo as “Search Message Shortcut”, it would not seem, however, to work properly: it could in fact happen that, although the function has been correctly enabled on the application, it does not appear in certain situations. Clearly, being a beta, these are all problems that can happen.
How to download the new beta version of the app
