JustWatch photograph the performance of Star content on Disney + in Italy during the last year (23 February 2021 – 23 February 2022). The challenge, if it can be defined as such, is well balanced, with the top 10 of films featuring five Star titles in the catalog, while in the TV series we find four.
Among the films Star stands out Nomadland in second place, but to amaze is the third place of the unmistakable Pretty Woman, which over 30 years after its debut is still so popular. The other Star titles are placed from 6th to 8th place, with Free Guy, Titanic (speaking of “classicons” …) and finally the most recent Gifted. Among the original contents we point out Luca in first place, Raya to the fourth and the recent Encanto at the end of the ranking.
Among the TV series we even have a Grey’s Anatomy # 1 chased in third place by The Walking Dead, both of Star; then we have American Horror Story in seventh position e Prison Break (but how much does this series degenerate after the first 2 seasons? – Editor’s note) in eighth. In short, not exactly the latest content, confirming their popularity over time.
The most popular Disney + original series is instead Lokithe only one in the Marvel genre to earn the top 10. Surprisingly The Mandalorian is only fifth, while i Simpson do not give up, in ninth place, and in tenth position we find the only content really for the little ones: Miraculous – The stories of Ladybug and Chat Noir.
