A sad news from the world of comics: the cartoonist Tom Veitch died at the age of 80 from complications caused by COVID-19, according to a public post on Facebook by his brother, artist, writer and publisher Rick Veitch. In the world of comics, Tom Veitch is best known for writing the trilogy of Star Wars comic stories published by the Dark Horse Comics in the early 90s: Dark Empire, Dark Empire II And Empire’s End. Veitch leaves behind his wife Martha, daughter Angelica Veitch Stasolla, nephews Tommy Walls and Jacob Walls, sister Wendy Lillie and brothers Robert, Rick, Michael and Peter.
