The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G adventure starts from the United States, the latest addition to one of the luckiest and most successful series of the Asian giant. The new smartphone, destined to bring a new alternative to the medium-low range of the market, will soon be on sale with AT&T and T-Mobile, and over the next few months, it could also arrive on international markets.
Highly-priced entry-level?
Even if the competition on the North American market is not so high, given the substantial absence of a player like Xiaomi (and its Redmi and POCO brands), Samsung Galaxy A13 5G price could limit sales, given that the data-sheet is not particularly attractive.
It starts with one 6.5-inch LCD screen with 90 Hz refresh but with HD + resolution (1600 x 720 pixels), with a drop notch to house the front camera, an outdated solution for most of the competition. Under the body, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 700, with octa-core CPU, flanked by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, expandable with microSD up to 1 TB.
The rear camera can count on a 50-megapixel main sensor (f / 1.8) flanked by two 2 megapixel sensors (f / 2.4) for macro and depth while the selfie camera uses a 5-megapixel sensor (f / 2.0).
Very good instead 5,000 mAh battery, which should guarantee excellent autonomy, while fast charging stops at 15 watts. The presence of the NFC technology to take advantage of mobile payments with Samsung Pay. There is a fingerprint reader, located on the right side of the frame, a single speaker, and a 3.5 mm connector for headphones. Also supported dual-band WiFi and 5G Sub 6 networks. Too bad for the absence of a charger and a pair of headphones in the package, but now the trend seems to be consolidated in this direction.
Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will go on sale in the US from December 3 at a price of $ 249.99 with AT $ T and from January with T-Mobile. On the other hand, there are no indications of possible commercialization on international markets. However, keep following us to find out more.
