HONOR today presented two new Android smartphones in China, which succeed the HONOR 50 unveiled last summer (and available in Italy for a few weeks): these are HONOR 60 And HONOR 60 Pro, generously sized mid-range devices with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs and 108MP cameras. Ready to discover them more closely?
Official HONOR 60 and HONOR 60 Pro: Specifications and features
HONOR 60 and HONOR 60 Pro are not particularly different smartphones. As the nomenclature suggests, the more expensive Pro version slightly raises the bar in some respects: more precisely, the main differences concern the photographic sector, the diagonal of the display, and the SoC, in the “Plus” version only on the Pro.
Both have a spacious OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10 certification (HDR10 + for the Pro), generous memories (8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage), and a 108 MP main camera with f / 1.9 aperture. There is no difference between the two in terms of connectivity: we have 5G, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and USB Type-C port.
THE 108MP main sensors can rely on 9-in-1 pixel binning technology to return images with 2.1 µm pixels. The Pro version offers a better ultra-wide-angle sensor, 50 MP, with autofocus and the ability to shoot macros at a distance of 2.5 cm. The 2 MP depth sensor is also available for both.
At the level of design, we have the same four colors that can be appreciated in the images below, but HONOR 60 Pro has more rounded lines, with more accentuated curves. Both offer thin bezels in the front, with a hole in the display for the front camera, and the “classic” double eye in the back.
