There is another update for the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic

Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic are currently two of the best smartwatches on the market, as well as the undisputed rulers in Wear OS (here is our guide to the best smartwatches), even more so due to a software support which for other models is a mirage: another small one update is in roll out right now for the two wearables from Samsung.

Close to the presentation of the new Samsung Galaxy S22 (here is our review), the South Korean manufacturer had also announced improved software support for its wearables and a very important update full of news precisely for Samsung Galaxy Watch4 And Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic. A further update of about ten days ago had then improved the autonomy of the latter and now there is yet another update in roll out.

Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Classic: the news of the update

To be honest, even in this case we are talking about a mere minor update and the release started from the United States. Samsung Galaxy Watch4 And Watch4 Classic are receiving the firmware version R870XXU1EVB4 and the skimpy official changelog shows only one novelty:

  • Improved system stability and reliability.

The manufacturer has not provided more detailed details on the specific bugs and reliability problems solved, but this further refinement of the user experience can only please the owners of the two smartwatches.

On the other hand, there is no shortage of hypotheses, given that after the last major update problems with Google Pay, a somewhat lacking autonomy, some problems with tracking and malfunctions with old Wear OS watch faces had been reported.
