Following the numerous leaks on Nubia Z4o Pro and the official teasers published by the company in recent days, in these hours the new top of the Nubia range is finally reality with a very high level technical data sheet.
After RedMagic 7 Series it is the third device of the Chinese giant to mount the new high-end mobile processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, whose characteristics place it in direct competition with Samsung Galaxy S22 +.
Nubia Z40 Pro: features and design
From the design point of view, there are no particular differences with respect to the leak information published in recent days: frontally there is a 6.67 inch AMOLED panel at Full HD + resolution with 144 Hz refresh rate, integrated fingerprint sensor and central punch hole camera with 16 MP sensor.
Under the body, in addition to Qualcomm’s new high-end processor, it is possible to find up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 3.1 internal space, while an impressive photographic module stands out at the rear. The latter consists of a 64MP Sony IMX787 main sensor with a lens equivalent to a 35mm focal length, a 50MP ultra wide-angle sensor and an 8MP periscope sensor.
One of the peculiar characteristics of the Nubia device is that it looks like the world’s first Android smartphone to support the magnetic wireless charging. In this regard, the device is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with support for fast charging at 80 W (on cable) and 15 W (wirelessly), but there is also a special edition of the device with a smaller 4600 mAh battery. with 15W magnetic wireless fast charging always.
The operating system is Android 12 with MyOS 12 customization.
