HONOR announces two new Android smartphones at MWC 2022 in Barcelona. It is about HONOR Magic4 And HONOR Magic4 Pro, products that make up a new premium product line and focus on cutting-edge technology, design, display, photography, performance and privacy. Let’s find out all the details together.
HONOR Magic4 and Magic4 Pro official: specifications and features

The HONOR Magic4 series offers Qualcomm’s latest SoC, lo Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, with 7th generation AI Engine and Cortex-X2 architecture: compared to the previous generation we have improvements in CPU performance by 20%, GPU performance by 30% and AI capabilities by 300%. Alongside the chipset take place 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory.
HONOR Turbo Engines maximize chip capabilities, with HONOR OS Turbo X to ensure that hardware and software work together to improve smoothness, anti-deterioration and energy consumption. Also on board is the first AI Super Rendering technology for mobile gaming through the Turbo X GPU, to offer as many fps with as little heat and latency as possible, while maintaining high game quality and fluid graphics.
HONOR Magic4 Pro features an “Eye of Muse” design with 6.81-inch Quad-Curved LTPO display and ultra-thin bezels. The HDR10 + panel is capable of displaying up to 1.07 billion colors with 100% DCI-P3 support for crisp and true colors. The new generation LTPO screen, combined with the Chinese manufacturer’s MotionSync technology, offers a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz that adapts to content and use to maintain high energy efficiency.
The series offers a pulse-width modulation (PWM) of 1920 Hz, the highest ever achieved on an LTPO screen: it minimizes eye strain, providing a comfortable experience in all light conditions. The Pro does not lack the IP68 certification against water and dust, with the device that can be immersed up to 1.5 meters deep for 30 minutes. The “normal” model instead stops at IP54 certification, with resistance to water splashes.
The photographic sector of HONOR Magic4 Pro can enjoy a triple rear camera, consisting of a 50MP (1 / 1.56-inch) wide-angle sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide angle (122 ° FoV) and a 64MP telephoto sensor. Multi-camera computational photography allows merging of focal lengths across the range. The two 50MP sensors offer a 65% increase in image sharpness and clarity, the 64MP Periscope telephoto lens offers 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. On board the HONOR Magic4 series the latest version of the Magic UI 6.0based on Android 12. It is able to intelligently learn user habits to provide tailored tips and updates of all apps.
