SUPERVOOC 150W AND 240W, THE QUICK CHARGING REVOLUTION

Since the introduction of Oppo Supervooc a road has been made and with the new evolution of technology the company reaches new heights of speed and performance. Oppo takes advantage of the important international showcase to officially present the SUPERVOOC 150W recharge, which allows you to charge a 4,500mAh battery at 50% in 5 minutes and provide a 100% recharge in just 15 minutes. Based on direct charging with charging pumps, it can support up to 20V / 7.5A.

The fast charging technology will be launched on some selected OnePlus smartphones, the latest flagships probably, in the second quarter of 2022 and will also integrate the Battery Health Engine technology, which made its debut within the OPPO Find X5 series. The goal of this feature is to maintain the original charge capacity after 1,600 charge cycles, effectively doubling the current standard by approximately 800 cycles.

We then come to the enhanced version of the fast charging technology, the SuperVooc 240W, thanks to which it is possible to recharge a 100% 4,500mAh battery in just 9 minutes, pushing the boundaries of charging power even further. It supports up to 24V / 10A charging and of course with Type-C connection.

And there is no shortage of attention on the safety front, in fact SuperVooc 240W adopts five protection measures and an intelligent control chip designed to keep the voltage, current and temperature stable, to offer a safe charging solution. A monitoring chip was then developed that can check if the smartphone battery has been damaged, and if so, inhibit fast charging. Temperature control has also been taken seriously, the phones that will be supported, in fact, will boast the presence of 13 sensors for monitoring of the degrees achieved.
