Xiaomi has just revealed a host of new devices such as headphones, smartwatch, the new ones Xiaomi 12, and the interface MIUI 13 during the launch event held today. The Chinese giant took advantage of the event to also present a variant of Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro updates some hardware specifications
This is the same version of the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro WiFi-only launched in August, equipped with an 11 “LCD with a resolution of 2560X1600 pixels, a high refresh rate of 120Hz, PPI up to 275, and a contrast ratio of 1500: 1. The processor is one Snapdragon 870 and the battery is from 8600 mAh with support for fast charging up to 67 W. The variant however brings the RAM from 6 to 8 GB and the storage memory is only 256GB (eliminating the 128GB option).
The event revealed that Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro will be available for pre-order in China starting from 22:00 CST, at an initial price of 2999 yuan (about 417 euros) and sales will start on December 31st at 8 pm CST. After that, the device will go to a price of 3099 yuan (around 430 euros).
Staying on the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro theme, the company is introducing one eggs variant of its protective case which doubles as a keyboard, now also available in the white color. The case will be available for pre-order from today at 10 pm CST and it will cost 399 yuan (about 55 euros).
Considering that only the base model has arrived in Italy, we may never see this variant in our market. In case there is any news about it we will keep you updated.
