According to the images that emerged, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will present a square design similar to that seen on the defunct Galaxy Note series and will fill the void by offering the S Pen and a place to store it. The whistleblower states that the latency on the new S Pen will be just 2.8ms.
The images reveal that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will adopt a rear four-camera setup consisting of a 108MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and two 10MP telephoto lenses that will likely support 3x and 10x optical zoom. The camera will support 12-bit HDR recording and auto frame rate as well.
The 6.8-inch 2X dynamic AMOLED display with a 2K resolution of 1440 x 3088 pixels will support the 120Hz refresh rate and will sport a perforated cutout in the top center to house the 40MP front camera.
The screen will use LTPO technology to switch between 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate and will be protected from scratches and accidental drops by the Victus Gorilla Glass finish.
The Samsung device will weigh approximately 228 grams and measure 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9 mm, offer an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, and will be powered by a 5000mAh battery that will support charging. 45W fast, plus 15W wireless charging.
The device will run OneUI 4.1 based on Android 11 and will include dual AKG speakers with Dolby Atmos audio. Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 +, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are rumored to launch on February 8, and the Ultra model has received a major redesign.
