ZTE announced that al Mobile World Congress in Barcelona will present a 5G set-top-box based on Android TV. This box, thanks to the 5G connection, according to the company will be able to provide users new video experiences characterized by high speed, low latency and high stability.
On the hardware side, however, the box will adopt a high-performance chip with an architecture quad-core ARM Cortex-A55; software side, ZTE will support video codec AV1, which will allow operators to distribute higher quality content.
The new box will have a elegant designan ultra-thin base and a color “cold black”. Also, the design will be vertical to ensure one greater heat dissipation. After all, ZTE’s STB products are widely used all over the world, thanks to their performance, functions and reliability.
