Almost a year after the “base” model, Black Shark 4 Pro, the most recent gaming smartphone of the company, arrives today on the global markets, one of the first to believe in this market. Once again, gaming enthusiasts will find their match, with lots of power and dedicated solutions, for a priceless gaming experience.
Technical characteristics of Black Shark 4 Pro
The screen is the first point of contact with this Black Shark 4 Pro and could only be an AMOLED unit, with a diagonal of 6.67 inches, FullHD + resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels), HDR10 + support, peak brightness of 1,300 nits and obviously a refresh rate of 144 Hz, therefore also ideal for the most frenetic games.
Under the body there is a Snapdragon 888, not Qualcomm’s most recent solution but still more than enough to guarantee top-level performance in any context, flanked by 8-128 GB or 12-256 GB of memory, with LPDD RAM % R and internal memory, not expandable, UFS 3.1 type, to guarantee top performance.
Impeccable connectivity, with support for 5G networks on both SIMs (nano cards), dual band 802.11 ac WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo QZSS. The audio part was also curated, with two symmetrical speakers with a voluminous sound chamber with DTS Ultra X certification for cinematic audio capable of offering an immersive sound experience thanks also to spatial audio.
Not bad the video sector, which can count on a triple rear camera, with 64 megapixel main sensor (f / 1.79) flanked by an 8 megapixel (f / 2.2) ultra wide-angle lens sensor (FoV 119 degrees) and the classic 5 megapixel macro sensor (f / 2.4).
The 4,500 mAh battery is very good, supported by the 120 watt ultra-fast charging technology that allows you to fully recharge the battery in just 15 minutes, to be able to face long gaming sessions without problems. In the sales package there is also a 120 W battery charger (6SA) to take advantage of the new technology right away.
Special design and functions
Black Shark 4 Pro maintains a very recognizable design with the logo in the center of the back cover, the photographic module arranged horizontally and some solutions already seen in the past. Magnetic triggers are back, whose functions can be customized both in-game and in commonly used solutions, to start up, for example, the camera, the screen recorder and much more.
The dimensions are generous but not exaggerated, 163.83 x 76.35 x 9.9 mm and 220 grams of weight, but they serve to contain a lot of technology, including the liquid cooling system, which allows for stable performance over time. . The critical areas, namely the chipset, the 5G modem and the chip that manages the 120 watt charging, have been designed to avoid heat concentrations. The entire motherboard is wrapped in a three-dimensional dissipation system and an integrated sensor allows you to adjust the internal temperature based on that detected in the contact area with your hands.
On board we find JOYUI 12.5, the custom interface based on MIUI 12.5 with numerous customizations designed for the most avid gamers, who can isolate themselves to avoid annoying interruptions during the most hectic gaming sessions. Three colors to choose from, Shadow Black, Misty Gray and Ceramic Black.
