ColorOS 12 Beta with Android 12 for four other OPPO smartphones

OPPO is working hard to bring the renewed ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 to an increasingly large number of models and, to do so, is taking care of each of the beta versions: today it’s up to OPPO F17 Pro, OPPO F19 Pro, OPPO Reno4 F, OPPO Reno5 F.

OPPO has kept its promises at the beginning of the month and for all four models listed the communication of the arrival of the build Android 12 x ColorOS 12 Beta Version as part of a dedicated beta program came through the official forum (here, here, here And here).

For all Announcements of the new release of ColorOS, we refer you to our video preview. Here we give priority to details of the four updates in distribution:

  • OPPO F17 Pro: the beta program is currently active in India, the available places are 2500. The program is open from February 22, 2022 and users will receive it within 3 working days of successful enrollment. Firmware version required: C.34.
  • OPPO F19 Pro: the beta program is currently active in India, the available places are 2500. The program is open from February 22, 2022 and users will receive it within 3 working days of successful enrollment. Firmware version required: A.28 / A.29.
  • OPPO Reno4 F: the beta program is currently active in Indonesia, available places are 2500. The program is open from February 22, 2022 and users will receive it within 3 working days of successful enrollment. Firmware version required: C.34.
  • OPPO Reno5 F: the beta program is currently active in Indonesia, available places are 2500. The program is open from February 22, 2022 and users will receive it within 3 working days of successful enrollment. Firmware version required: A.27 / A.29.

Since it is a beta build, the absence of bugs is not guaranteed, furthermore, among the known problems that could occur we find: a low probability that the update will fail and the device will continue and restart; a low probability that the AOD is not complete.

How to update OPPO F17 Pro, F19 Pro, Reno4 F, Reno5 F

None of the updates described, as mentioned, is intended for Europe, however the path to search for them manually is “Settings > Software Update > Gear Icon > Update Early Access > Official Version Application > Agree to Privacy Agreement > Apply Now“.
