After becoming a third person action game Ninja themed, there is now another mod in circulation for the Doom franchise. This time around, however, we’re not talking about a more serious job or a rework of the game, but a truly extraordinary and downright crazy change of setting.
As you could have guessed from the title, a Doom 2 mod is in circulation that transforms the setting of the game in that of Bikini Bottom, that is the one that is the background for the adventures of Spongebob. Not only that: the mod also transforms some iconic characters into real enemies. Squidward (originally Squidward) for example becomes the Doom Slayer and it is also possible to shoot Patrick. All using also themed weapons. The experiment is downright crazy, but it finds a solid foundation on which to build.
For some time, in fact, Spongebob has undergone a kind of rebirth. The cartoon is still followed by many people and recently the entire narrative universe has also become a real successful franchise. Taking advantage of this popularity, the modder therefore decided to create this mod. The result is incredible and you can also admire it yourself thanks to the gameplay video. Ah, just for the record: the mod is called The Bikini Bottom Massacre. Maybe not very original, but at least it goes straight to the point.
