The cars Tesla they are a real concentrate of technology that can be exploited not only for autonomous driving and, in general, to provide unparalleled pleasure behind the wheel, but also for video games while, obviously, you are stopped perhaps waiting for a recharge. Over time, the infotainment system has made great strides, starting with chip-based models Intel Atom to the most modern AMD Ryzen APUequipped with highly performing integrated CPU and GPU cores.
Recently, Ryan McCaffrey from IGN asked, tagging Elon Musk and the official Twitter profile of Cyberpunk 2077when the title would also arrive on Tesla Model S / XSurprisingly, Elon Musk responded to the tweet stating that he is working on making titles playable on Steam in general and not on a case-by-case basis, at least that’s the goal in the long run.
We’re working through the general case of making Steam games work on a Tesla vs specific titles. Former is obviously where we should be long-term.

Previously, it had been stated that the hardware available to the latest Tesla was more powerful than Playstation 5, so in theory there should be no problems running video games that are not very demanding in terms of graphics and triple-A titles like Cyberpunk 2077. In fact, on board the cars there should be a custom AMD Ryzen APU equipped with a Zen + quad core CPU with a frequency of 3.8GHz and 4MB of L3 cache, while the integrated GPU is of RDNA 2 class.
AMD is focusing a lot on its APUs, especially in the console area where they have been chosen as the basis for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, without forgetting the Steam Deck. In addition, many notebooks will soon arrive on the market that will take advantage of the new Ryzen 6000 series APUs, which should bring substantial advantages both in terms of CPU and GPU performance.
