Intel has recently presented a new product of the series NUC (Next Unit of Computing)that is a “bundle” that offers some PC components and a “modular” case: it is NUC 12 Extreme, based on 12th generation Intel processors.
Intel NUC 12 Extreme is essentially divided into two parts: the first, NUC 12 Compute Elementincludes motherboard and processor (the latter available until Core i9-12900 with 8 high performance cores, 8 high efficiency cores and 24 threads), while the second is the case, measuring approximately 35.5 x 12 x 18.9 cm (large enough to accommodate a GPU up to 30 cm dual slot).
The motherboard supports connection PCIe Gen 5 x16 for the GPU, Up to 64GB DDR4 SODIMM RAM in dual channel and includes three slots M.2 PCIe Gen 4. As for the doors, on the back we find 2 Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.0b, 6 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and a 10Gbps Ethernet connectorwhile on the front we have one USB Type-C port, one Type-A, SD slot and headphone jack.
