On the day the Realme GT2 series will be officially unveiled at the MWC in Barcelona, a new report released by Strategy Analytics reveals the numbers of Realme’s incredible growth in Europe during 2021.
Data in hand, in fact, it is possible to say without hesitation that no brand before had achieved these results and above all in such a short time.
Realme’s growth in Europe during 2021 is a record never seen before
In terms of growth, in fact, the Chinese giant recorded 500% more during Q4 2021 and 548% in all of 2021: these are numbers that make the competition pale and underline the incredible goodness of the commercial strategy of the company in the Old Continent, especially considering that the company only landed in Europe in 2019.
Going into detail, Strategy Analytics reveals that the company’s growth has had different results in the various regions of Europe: in Central and Eastern Europe, Realme recorded a growth of 643% YoY, while in Western Europe the Chinese brand recorded a growth of 416% YoY.
This major surge allowed the company to enter the top five of the ranking of the major smartphone manufacturers in Europe: Samsung is firmly in first place with 29% market share (-1% YoY), Apple in second place with 23% (+ 11% YoY), Xiaomi in third place with 20% (+ 33%), OPPO in fourth place with 5% (+ 77%) and Realme in fifth place with 3% (+ 548%). Several analysts agree that the growth of the brand was in some way also favored by the commercial collapse that hit Huawei following the US commercial ban, a golden opportunity that allowed the company (and many others) to position itself as a valid alternative.
Today there is great expectation for the launch of the Realme GT2 series also in Europe: we are sure that the devices will be able to conquer millions of consumers due to the incredible quality / price ratio.
