After OPPO Find N, it seems that the company has another foldable smartphone in the pipeline, but this time with a clamshell design.
The brand’s first “flip” smartphone should offer good value for money and cost less than its home rival Samsung.
According to reports from whistleblower Mukul Sharma, OPPO would have started work on its first folding clamshell smartphone, which would likely hit the shelves by the end of September 2022.
The device would be launched as an exponent of the OPPO Find series at a lower price than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3.
OPPO working on the possible successor of Find N
OPPO would also be developing another foldable smartphone that could be a successor to the current OPPO Find N. Although it is currently still early to talk about launch timing, it is possible to venture that it will be presented early next year.
For the moment we have no other information about OPPO’s next foldable smartphones, but more details will likely pop up over the next few days.
OPPO Find N is a premium foldable Android smartphone presented during the Chinese house’s Hymn Day 2021, an event dedicated to the news of the “future” held on 14 and 15 December. This is the manufacturer’s first foldable smartphone.
