Not just smartphones and accessories for Realme in this Mobile World Congress: the company has also unveiled the new one to the public Realme Book Primea notebook with interested technical characteristics, which aims to challenge some of the most famous brands in the industry.
The heart of the Realme Book Prime is a Intel Core i5-11320H, Tiger Lake range processor with 4 cores / 8 threads capable of reaching 4.5GHz in boost, with a base operating frequency of 3.2GHz and with a TDP of 35W configurable up to 28W. The Core i5-11320H offers 9.6% single-core performance and 21.8% more multi-core performance than the Realme Book, and is flanked by up to 16GB of RAM and a configurable SSD up to 512GB. The graphics sector is entrusted to the integrated Intel Iris Xe, since no configuration is equipped with a discrete GPU, and everything is enclosed in one aluminum chassis with a reduced thickness, of only 14.9mm.
The processor is cooled by a steam room, which manages to keep temperatures under control even in the most demanding situations. The use of this solution allows to improve the cooling efficiency by 32.7% and to dissipate 50% more power (again compared to the previous model), so as to guarantee superior performance.
The “Full Vision” screen offers a 2K resolution, while the audio sector is entrusted to stereo speakers with support for DTS technology. For connectivity we find two ports on the left USB type C Thunderbolt 4, that allow you to connect various accessories, while on the right there is a USB type A and the 3.5mm jack. Wireless connectivity is instead guaranteed by the support to WiFi 6.
As for autonomy, during the presentation Realme talked about a maximum of 12 hours, but we will have to wait for the tests to verify the real one. Realme Book Prime will arrive on the market in the coming weeks in three colors (blue, green and silver) at the price of 999 euros for the configuration with Core i5, 8GB of RAM and 512GB SSD, while for the variant with Core i5, 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD will be required 1099 euros.
