Samsung’s Galaxy S22s receive the Expert RAW app with improved functionality

In line with what we anticipated a few days ago (here), Samsung released the app Expert RAW in stable version for the new top of the range Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra. This is the first stable version of the application, and contains improved features compared to the beta versions released so far (on Galaxy S21 Ultra).

Expert RAW comes out of beta and arrives on the Galaxy S22 series

Samsung’s Expert Raw app is a real camera app whose main purpose is to extend the performance capabilities of the integrated camera app: it offers a specific pro mode for telephoto lenses (but also supports all other lenses), as well as providing the ability to save shots in formats such as 16-bit Linear DNG RAW or JPG Lossless (without loss of information), without forgetting the HDR support.

Communication with Adobe Lightroomin which Expert RAW will allow you to export RAW profiles, allowing additional features to users about changing parameters such as white or color balance, exposure values ​​and much more.

The new smartphones of the series Galaxy S22 Samsung received the app Expert RAW Of Samsung that comes out of the beta and updates to the version stable version of the app.

It should be noted that the application is compatible with Android 12 or a later version of the green robot’s operating system.

When it will arrive on the other compatible models

The release of the app in a stable version on the Galaxy Store (link to the app here) will then continue reaching all the smartphones in the house Samsung compatible (specifically on those equipped with a telephoto lens): Expert RAW will come up Galaxy S21 Ultra next March 7 and on Galaxy Z Fold3 5G in April; within the first half of the year, then, the app Expert RAW will also reach i Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra And Galaxy Z Fold 2.
