Thanks to “Checks” Google will help app developers respect privacy

“Checks” is Google’s latest Area 120 project to help developers get started “a safer digital ecosystem by simplifying the path to privacy compliance.” This platform will aim to collect application data to highlight “potential compliance issues under regulations such as GDPR and CCPA”.

Thanks to “Checks”, therefore, developers will be able to identify any privacy compliance issues early on. In fact, they will be able to present their apps on the platform, which will scan and analyze them until a data usage declaration is created for the store.

Finally, “Checks” is available in both free and paid versions. There are three subscription options: core (Core), advanced (Premium) and enterprise (Enterprise) which will cost monthly respectively $ 249 / $ 499 / negotiated price.
