After a promotional treasure hunt countdown on Instagram, Amazon has announced that the second season of the series young-adult The Wilds will be available from 6 May exclusively on Prime Video. Parallel to the announcement, the first images, thanks to which we can enjoy a very first taste of the increasingly risky challenges that the girls trapped on a mysterious island will have to face, in addition to the first unpublished images of the shipwrecked boys who will take part in this second season’s dystopian pajama party. The second season of T.he Wilds continues the narrative of the tormented misadventures of a group of teenagers stranded on a desert island, where they did not end up by chance – they were secretly recruited for a complex social experiment. The new season increases with pathos revealing that it is not only the girls who are being studied, there is a new group of subjects, an island of only teenage boys, who are also struggling with the struggle for survival under the watchful gaze of the ” puppeteer ”of this experiment.
