Android 12 is available since October 2021 and debuted natively on the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro and as an update for the entire range of Google smartphones (starting with the Pixel 3). Obviously, the distribution by “third-party” producers takes a longer time, but there are still many devices that will receive Android 12 in the coming weeks or months (some have already been updated): let’s go for a nice summary and see the smartphones that have received or will receive Android 12.
Which smartphones have received or will receive Android 12: the list of models
Android 12 debuted as Developer Preview, as already happened in the past with other releases, starting from February, and over the months it has been perfected through further DP and beta versions, up to the stable on October 19, 2021. The release took place starting from the Google Pixel and over the months there will be many models of smartphones And Tablets to be updated by their respective manufacturers (such as Samsung, Xiaomi, OPPO, OnePlus, and so on).
In the list below we have entered the devices that have already been updated and those who will be updated: of course, as regards the latter, there is no 100% certainty, but we have based ourselves on the promises of the various producers, on the official declarations and on the behavior of the past years. In some cases, we can also provide you with indicative times on the release period of the update to Android 12 but don’t take them literally, as they may only affect specific markets.
Here is the list of Android smartphones and tablets that have received or will be updated to Android 12.
Android 12 on Google Pixel
Android 12 obviously debuted on the Google Pixels, which have already all been updated (the compatible ones).
Android 12 on Samsung Galaxy with One UI 4.0
Samsung has started strong with the update to Android 12, given the large number of models that should receive it by 2022. Here is the long list with some indications on the timing (where possible).

Android 12 on Huawei with EMUI
It is difficult to hypothesize at the moment how Huawei will behave, still blocked by the ban situation. The update to the EMUI 12 will arrive for many smartphone models of the Chinese house, but probably without switching to Android 12: the Chinese company is in fact focusing more and more on its own HarmonyOS (already available on some models).
There EMUI 12 however, should arrive by the first half of 2022 on the following models:
Android 12 on Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO with MIUI 13
There are many Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices that should receive the new MIUI 13 based on Android 12:
Android 12 on OnePlus with OxygenOS 12
OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 will arrive on the following smartphones, as confirmed by the same Chinese house. The times are not known for now.
Android 12 on OPPO with ColorOS 12
These are all the OPPO smartphones that should receive the update to Android 12 with ColorOS 12 based on what we can deduce from the beta program:
Android 12 on LG with LG UX
Here are the smartphones that LG should update to Android 12 despite the exit from the mobile market. The timing is not known, but we imagine it will take a while to embrace the update.
Android 12 on Nokia
Nokia has not yet ruled on updating its smartphones to Android 12. We can hypothesize an update for the following models, but take the directions with a grain of salt (Nokia X20 aside, for which the beta test program is open).
Android 12 on HONOR with Magic UI
After returning to Italy with Google services, HONOR will certainly update HONOR 50 and HONOR 50 Lite, the only models currently available in our country. The others listed below are available for purchase in China.
Android 12 on Sony
For now, Sony has not expressed itself regarding the update to Android 12 of its smartphones, but we can hypothesize an update for the following models:
Android 12 on ASUS with ZenUI 8.0
