After a lot of anticipation and waiting, the new smartphone is finally officially launched premium by OPPO. This is Find X5 Pro that we tell you today here and of which you will also find a video preview at the end of the article.
The first peculiarity of this smartphone is certainly its being made of ceramic (the frame is in metal). An extremely resistant material that over the years should guarantee maximum resistance to scratches. Obviously, however, the weight has grown.
The entire hardware sector is very interesting, with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 at its debut in Italy (at least among smartphones premium). We still have eSIM support and find the OPPO’s NPU image processor: MariSilicon X. The cooling system is then divided into 3 parts, one in graphene to cover the motherboard and the wireless charging system, a vapor chamber (75% larger) to cover the CPU and battery and a another layer of graphene covering the components that make the display work.
Once again great attention also to the large curved display, now in LTPO technology which guarantees a variable refresh rate between 1 and 120 Hz. The touch sampling rate is instead of 1,000 Hz. The maximum brightness can reach 1,300 nits and we have support for the reproduction of a billion colors.
The “classic” OPPO push on the photographic sector could not be missing. Once again we find two Sony IMX766 50 megapixel sensors. The main sensor is stabilized on 5 axes (two on the lenses and three on the sensor). A collaboration with the historic brand is then born with this Find X5 Pro Hasselblad. The most intense collaboration should have been done on the part of the color reproduction. The third camera is a 13 megapixel, 2x zoom (down from last year’s 5x in length). Present a color spectrum sensor, but there is no longer the macro camera with the ring led.
We close with the battery growing up to 5,000 mAh and supports all the most modern charging systems: not only the standard 30W wired and 15W wireless PD ones, but also the OPPO proprietary ones SuperVOOC at 80W wired and 50W wireless AirVOOC.
Find X5 Pro will be available in the next few days at the price of € 1,299. The company’s launch promotions are very interesting.
