The Pixel 7 is shown in a series of new renderings, this time even more detailed and in color. The new generation of Google smartphones will only be presented in several months, but yesterday OnLeaks had shared a first CAD render of the device. In the meantime, a high-definition render of the Pixel 7 Pro has also been released.
But let’s go in order: the new renderings confirm the design already seen in the past few hours. Even if it is not perfectly specular to that of the model currently on the market, it seems that the design of the Pixel 7 will not introduce very big news.
The most important difference concerns the black band that encloses the photographic module: in the Pixel 7 it will also embrace part of the side frame, returning a more harmonious effect. The curve is also slightly less pronounced, which is why the device is a bit thinner than the Pixel 6.
The new renders also come from OnLeaks, with the collaboration of CARPH. Both sources are extremely reliable and in the past they have anticipated the final design of several other devices over and over again, many months in advance of their official releases. Will this also be the case for the Pixel 7?
Obviously it is difficult to say, all the more so because the launch of the new smartphone is scheduled for next autumn and in the meantime Google could decide to implement important changes.
In the front we find a front camera with a hole, the only element of ‘disturbance’ for an otherwise clutter-free display. The screen should be between 6.2 and 6.4 inches, but it is still too early to have any definitive information. The antenna lines are clearly visible on all four corners. Returning to the photographic sector: we find two sensors accompanied by a showy LED flash.
On the left side we find the module for the SIM, while on the right side the keys for the volume and for turning on / off the smartphone have been allocated. Finally, at the bottom we find the USB Type-C input and the speaker grille. The display should measure 155.6 x 73.1 x 8.7mm. For the moment there is no information yet on the technical data sheet of the Google Pixel 7.
Even the Pixel 7 Pro has no more secrets
Always OnLeaks also provides us with a first and detailed render of the older brother, the Pixel 7 Pro. Recall that, for the first time, with the Pixel 6 Google has differentiated its two smartphones not only on the basis of the screen size, but also as regards the specifications. The processor is the same, but the Pro models can count on more RAM and a more complete photographic sector.
Even the new Pixel 7 Pro does not introduce big news on the design front, net of the small changes already addressed when talking about the Pixel 7. It will measure 163 × 76.6 × 8.7mm, while the thickness rises to 11.2mm in correspondence with the photographic module. And as in the previous generation, also in this case the most important distinctive feature of the ‘Pro’ model comes to us precisely from the three-camera module, and no longer to two.
