The new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be one of the first innovations of the Samsung range in 2022. The smartphone has long been at the center of rumors and indiscretions and today the circle closes with an important confirmation regarding the smartphone software sector. As reported by Sammobile, which has made available the firmware of the smartphone in these hours, the new Galaxy S21 FE will arrive on the market with Android 12 available as standard equipment. The operating system will also be enriched by the new one One UI 4.0.
Also, note that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE should be on the list of Samsung smartphones they will receive three major updates of the operating system. The arrival on the market with Android 12, therefore, could guarantee the smartphone very long-lasting support, by Android standards. The Galaxy S21 FE could, in fact, go as far as Android 15 benefiting from official Samsung support. Furthermore, the new FE could be the only component of the series Galaxy S21 to get Android 15. The other smartphones (S21, 21+, and S21 Ultra), which arrived on the market with Android 11, will receive updates up to Android 14.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: price and specifications of the new smartphone
The official presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is scheduled for the month of January. The latest rumors on the smartphone confirm a list price of 649-699 euros for the European market. From a technical point of view, Samsung’s new smartphone will propose a 6.4-inch AMOLED display-diagonal with resolution Full HD + and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
To manage the operation of the smartphone we will find the SoC Exynos 2100 or its Snapdragon 888 (in Italy the version with the Exynos should arrive), according to the marketing market. In any case, even considering the price range, the performance will be of the highest level. The SoC will be paired with 8 GB of RAM it’s at 128/256 GB of internal storage.
To complete the datasheet we will find a battery from 4,500 mAh and a fingerprint sensor integrated under the display. The photographic sector of the new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE should also propose one triple rear chamber with a 64 Megapixel main sensor supported by an ultra-wide-angle sensor and a depth of field sensor. The front camera will be 32 Megapixels. The device is expected in at least four colors: White, Lavender, Cream, Black.
