Android 12 is reaching more and more Samsung devices and this time the update concerns the smartphones of the Samsung Galaxy A range.
In particular, they will be updated to the latest Android version Samsung Galaxy A72, Galaxy A52, and A52 5G, and Galaxy A52s 5G. The Galaxy A52 series currently represents the South Korean giant’s mid-range bestseller and therefore could only attract the attention of developers.
Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72 will receive Android 12 by February
The manufacturer has begun development of the update for its four latest generation mid-range Android smartphones mentioned above which will begin receiving the major update shortly.
Following the information in the Samsung Members app, Galaxy A52 series smartphones will receive the update to Android 12 in February 2022, so owners of the aforementioned devices won’t have to wait long for their first taste of Android 12.
However, the release of the update could be anticipated and it is hoped that there will be no delay, let alone a cancellation for any reason.
As with most versions of Android 12, owners of affected devices can expect widget enhancements and maybe even a new Material You-inspired design language and functionality, plus Samsung’s pre-installed apps are sure to be updated.
Finally, there should be improvements on the privacy front with a dedicated Dashboard that can easily view the permissions previously granted to the various applications.
