AirTag, in the latest iOS beta added new anti-stalking alerts

After recent concerns from some developers, Apple in the fourth beta of iOS 15.4 added some news about AirTag. In the latest version of the OS, in fact, new alerts have been implemented that communicate to users, during the configuration of an AirTag, that the accessory is connected to their Apple ID containing their personal data.

Also, the message highlights that using an AirTag for track down people without consent represents “a crime in many regions of the world”. Finally, the “Where is” service in the latest version allows users to change the options for “Where is” and “Monitoring” separately, as well asspecify which type of accessory has been detected while moving with someone.

Therefore, it would appear that Apple, as promised, is trying to add new options for that AirTags are not used to violate the security and privacy of users.
