That Apple is interested in creating a mixed reality viewer is nothing new: over the last few months there has been a lot of talk about this device, which should however arrive no earlier than August or September 2023.
Apple, however, is already at a good point regarding the development of the device: according to a report by ET News, the house of Cupertino is ready to enter the second phase of pre-production tests, and this means that Apple already has working prototypes in hand. In this regard, here are new confirmations on the hardware.
Apple VR will in fact mount the M1 chip: Apple’s processor is in fact extremely powerful but still not very energy-intensive and therefore perfect for a device that will (we assume) work mainly on battery. Also, we talk about micro OLED technology as regards the displays of the device.
